Thinktank Extends Community Commitment with Record Charitable Giving

As 2025 came to a close, Thinktank Property Finance was proud to mark a meaningful milestone in our ongoing commitment to community. Over the past year, we donated more than $337,000 to 34 charities, continuing a long-standing approach to giving that is grounded in shared values, genuine connection and collective impact.

Once again, we invited our broker partners to be part of that impact by choosing to donate in place of traditional end-of-year gifts. Thinktank contributed $100 on behalf of each broker to a charity of their choice, among the Salvation Army, Foodbank, RSPCA and Variety — allowing brokers to support causes that matter most to them and extending the reach of our combined efforts.

The response from our broker network was overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing a shared belief that small actions, taken together, can make a profound difference

Sam Ljujic, LMG Lending Team Leader shared the following feedback on behalf of their brokers “Congratulations to Thinktank – this is better than any gift. Inviting brokers to direct donations to charities they care about transforms a festive tradition into something that truly helps people. It speaks to your values, and we’re proud to be part of it”

Giving back has always been part of how Thinktank operates. Beyond our festive initiatives, charitable giving is embedded in the everyday workings of our business. For every settled deal, Thinktank donates $75 to charities selected by members of our team, along with an additional $25 to a special situations fund, there to support urgent needs that regularly arise from emergencies and natural disasters

We’re proud to work alongside charitable partners who align with our people-first philosophy, including:

  • Good Return, supporting women and families across the Asia-Pacific to build long-term financial security
  • Foodbank, delivering essential food relief to Australians facing hardship
  • Pass It On Clothing, providing quality pre-loved clothing directly to those in need

Thinktank CEO Jonathan Street said the company’s approach to giving reflects its core values.

“Charitable giving has always been woven into our reason for being, it’s part of who we are as a business. Our ethos has always been Into people. Not just transactions. Supporting those most in need within our communities is a natural component of that belief, and it’s something we’re committed to expanding.”

By working alongside our broker partners, Thinktank is proud to help create meaningful and lasting change. Choosing to give rather than gift is just one of the ways we bring our values to life and contribute to a stronger, more sustainable and connected community.
