FP&A Financial Modelling Analyst

As our FP&A Financial Modelling Analyst/ Senior Analyst, you’ll be a key player in our finance team, where your expertise will:

  • Enhance and build forecast models and reporting: Maintain and improve existing budget and forecast models per business requirements. Work on automating and refining our reporting processes to deliver even more insightful analysis.
  • Drive Financial Insights: Support monthly reporting, cash flow forecasting, and the annual budget process. Your detailed insights will help shape strategic business decisions.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with our Finance and Treasury teams to assist in ad-hoc reporting and embrace our ongoing digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Facilitate with the budget and reforecast process, maintain, enhance existing and build complex models per business requirements, cash flow forecasting, and provide detailed insights to guide our financial decisions.
  • Month-End Reporting: Prepare key monthly reports, comparing results to budget and forecast with explanation of variances, assist with Finance board packs, and ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end procedures.
  • Project Engagement: Work on improving and automating our reporting systems, and contribute to detailed analysis that supports our growth and strategic goals.
  • Team Contribution: Support the business during a time of significant growth.

About you:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in fast paced financial institutions, with at least 3+ of those years focused on financial modelling.
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Macro & VBA experience is essential
  • Advanced skills in Excel and experience with sophisticated financial models.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Operate with a high standard of ethics and integrity at all times
  • Holds a tertiary qualification in economics, business, accounting, finance, or actuarial sciences.
  • Brings a ‘can-do’ attitude and is ready to hit the ground running in a dynamic environment.
  • Reliable and deadline focused
